kandy trip

    A trip to Kandy was a special experience that will never be forgotten. I woke up that morning on November 6, 2021 and got on the kandy bus in the morning with the intention of going to the kandy. Because that was the day I met two of my best friends I met on WhatsApp.

One friend came to Kandy from Colombo while the other friend came to Kandy from Matale.  The three of us saw each other for the first time live in the kandy. 


First we visited the Temple of the Tooth and then to the Bhairavakanda Temple. Then we went to a friend's sisters' house in Matale.  That night the three of us talked and had fun.


The next day we went to Nelligala Temple and had fun at Peradeniya Park .We met another friend on campus there .The four of us did a dance together.




The few hours spent with friends were an unforgettable experience. the three of us went home hoping to see you again soon.❤️❤️❤️❤️

rathna ella       I am going to tell you about another beautiful place on Mahiyangana Road in Kandy. This is about the beautiful Ratna waterfall. This is located in the village of Rathna Ella in Hasalaka. This beautiful waterfall can also be seen on Mahiyangana Road in Kandy. In terms of height, this waterfall is ranked 10th in the list of tallest waterfalls in Sri Lanka.     We went to visit the Mahiyangana Temple on a Poya day. That day we came to see Rathna ella by chance. We had never been to that waterfall before. We had to walk a few kilometers from the road to reach Ratna ella. It is beautiful and it is very difficult to go there during the rainy season.    The tourism industry has not developed here. Also, this waterfall is not popular among the people of Sri Lanka. Therefore, the surrounding environment is not polluted.Due to time constraints, Rathna ella could not be approached. So if you come to see this we invite you to come in the morning....

Uva Wellassa

  I was born in Uva Wellassa. Historic Wellassa is about 3271 square miles in size. Uva has  become a fertile land with water from the main rivers Kiridi Oya, Gal Oya, Menik Ganga, Kumbukkan oya and Wil Oya.   This place is called Wellassa as there were 100,000 paddy fields near a lake.  The ancients say that Prince Saliya, the son of King Dutugemunu, transported rice from Wellassa to Anuradhapura on his birthday.  The area formerly known as Bathhala is now known as Buttala because rice was transported to all parts of the country.  In the past, every house in Wellassa was a granary.  Growing up in Uva Wellassa was a proud and courageous generation of people who loved the country and the nation.  The birth of many of King Dutugemunu's ten great giants is a good example of this.     1818 Uva Wellassa Rebellion broke out.  They won the revolt against foreigners organized by the leaders of Keppetipola, Kohukumbura Rateral...
