The mother is a dance teacher

         I first met her 12 years ago when I was about 10 years old. Her name is Sumudu Nisansala. She is a professional dance teacher. She is very talented and beautiful. She is also my dance teacher. I have been learning her dance since childhood.
        

      She is very happy to see my dancing ability. She says this ability is rarely seen in a boy. So she tells me never to give it up. .She shared her experience with me and provided education. She has made so many sacrifices for me.
         
         I was close to her because she did not have a mother. She was a good mother to me. She treated me like her own son. She always looked after me. She did everything a mother could do.
        
         I contribute dance to all her dance creations. I enjoy it. I learned a lot about dance because of her. There are times when she scolds me. Such moments are beautiful.
     
          Today, as a university student, I am guided by her. I was fortunate to be able to continue my education at the same university where she studied. She is also my second mother.

This is located in the village of Rathna Ella in Hasalaka. This beautiful waterfall can also be seen on Mahiyangana Road in Kandy. Uva Wellassa

  I was born in Uva Wellassa. Historic Wellassa is about 3271 square miles in size. Uva has  become a fertile land with water from the main rivers Kiridi Oya, Gal Oya, Menik Ganga, Kumbukkan oya and Wil Oya.   This place is called Wellassa as there were 100,000 paddy fields near a lake.  The ancients say that Prince Saliya, the son of King Dutugemunu, transported rice from Wellassa to Anuradhapura on his birthday.  The area formerly known as Bathhala is now known as Buttala because rice was transported to all parts of the country.  In the past, every house in Wellassa was a granary.  Growing up in Uva Wellassa was a proud and courageous generation of people who loved the country and the nation.  The birth of many of King Dutugemunu's ten great giants is a good example of this.     1818 Uva Wellassa Rebellion broke out.  They won the revolt against foreigners organized by the leaders of Keppetipola, Kohukumbura Rateral...
